Discovery
Audit, research, and build a theory. Create the brand language document that is used as the guiding force for creative executions—voice, values, product and service positioning, culture, promise, and future vision. Understand what the brand stands for, what it offers, who its customers are, how it is different from its competitors, and its competitive advantage.
Develop
Using the findings from discovery, we begin moodboard explorations. These visual boards are conceptual, experimental, free form, and inspirational. Clarify the design goals, constraints, timelines, and communications protocols. Focus on the high-level concept and not nitty-gritty design details. Contents include but are not limited to: concept statement, type, color, imagery, inspirational images, sketches.
Design
Refining the mood board choice “Marquee” and culminating in a look and feel that achieves the goals identified through our research in Discover. These boards are refined and include color, type, and other relevant visual assets. Testing the viability of our solutions in real-world scenarios.
Content, color, typography, and imagery are part of the brand’s cohesive visual language. You should be able to cover up the logo and still identify the company because the look and feel is so distinctive. We are designing a unique visual language.
Deliver
The brand guidelines book keeps you “you”. The book is referenced throughout the life of the brand to maintain consistency, establish credibility, and increase efficiency.
